Heat, Wonderful Wood Heat!

We installed the first of the three stoves yesterday (one is a ’47 Home Comfort wood cook stove).

The stove pipe is 20′ lengths of 6″ used well casing weighing over 300# apiece. Here is the baby, and the ordeal of the install.

  2. Thanks Ele, I wish I had the pics handy but we got the last two stoves installed last night at 9:40PM. The geometry was even worse than the first one. Tomorrow is the toilet and the bath, I built the raised platform today. The first test run running all 3 stoves ran us out of the house at about noon.
